My 3 DXMP Servers

Hi all. I may have left virtually all but two dx forum boards (RTK and this one)

Im still providing servers for DXMP.

Server #1:

Name: HDD21's RPG server.
Gametype: RPG
Country: UK.
Tickrate: 50
IP and Port: 86.149.84.216:7730 (IP may change from time to time so will be updated)
Slots: 8
Map: LTKJM_Village (will get more. LEES HK got overplayed).
Mods: Smg_Mod, PLKicker, infbio

Server #2:

Gametype: BTDM
Country: UK
Tickrate: 80
IP And Port: 86.149.84.216:7770 (IP may change from time to time so will be updated)
Slots: 8
Maps: DXJM_Field, DXMP_NYC_Tavern, DXJM_Ocean_Rigs, DXJM_Isolation_Revisited, DXMP_Cmd, DXMP_Smuggler.
Map looping: Loops in this order .
match time: 20 mins
Mods: PLKicker

Server #3:

GameType:BTDM
Country: UK
Tickrate: 60
IP And Port: 86.149.84.216:1716 (IP may change from time to time so will be updated)
Slots: 2 (Its a server for people to enjoy 1-1s in)
Maps: All standard apart from cathedral.
Map looping: Loops in standard order.
match time: 20 mins.
Mods: N/A

Thesse servers are hosted at my house, On a server PC. The way ive set it up enables 24/7 hosting. Two unreal 1 servers reside on the same machine also.
Euro players average 100 - 170 ping in theese 3 servers.
In the unreals, euro players average 60 - 100 ping.

Its not failed me... Yet. It also has a ventrillo server running on it. With the default port.

Suggestions for maps etc on them or suggestions for any other servers would be apreciated

Not a bad idea. The server numbers have dropped lately due to the MS crash. Hopefully, it'll keep the game alive a bit longer...

Yeah. they have dropped bad. That is one reason why i put them up.

They arnt the best low ping servers around. But until i can try and pro host they will do for now

They arnt low and arnt high. They are inbetween though. But better than 100-200 is beyyer than 600 - 700 ping

Very true. I've seen some peeps come in at stupid high pings like 271. Unplayable, really unplayable. Down to connection type as well though, BB players are gonna get better ping than dial-up players. I'm BB and still get pings of 180 on that server, though my average is 70. Very much who shoots first in AltFire with pings like that.....

This sshot it it running at tickrate 100. I was also using voicechat and uploading a large file. On this pc. the host machine is on same router. if that one stays popular ill pro host it.

I had a look at one of your servers last night HDD. Needs a certain something, though I'm not sure what.....

DX has little servers as it is. And its enjoyed by players.

vaan, host a DX server 24/7 on ur home PC. Then you can complain.

Theese "shit" servers ppl call shit (not just mine but ones of carbon etc) are the populated ones. Because players actually enjoy them. take all of them down means like 3 - 4 servers in list. When theese go down the players dont flock. they just dont play. Carbon server is fun. Ego server cuks due to bad abuse.

I think just cos carbon etc dont do forums doesnt mean its a bad clan. Their founder actually is so well mannered and plesent. I think players should have the freedom to try and help by hosting servers that dont crash ppl or host stolen content etc without big clans critisizing. The game was designed for freedom. Its up to the players where they play.

Good point, but whenever I've seen {CARBON} in action over at AltFire, some of them, not all of them though, have been a bit ass-holey. Lucas is ok, but jonkiller is a f*cking dickhead. Ask Proph, he'll tell you what I mean. Anyway, your RPG server went missing from the list yesterday Jake....
